ABOUT US (english)

ABOUT US (english)

At the Närhälsan Refugee Health Clinic we offer anyone who has recently arrived in Sweden the opportunity to undergo a health assessment. The aim of the assessment is to help individuals who could be at risk of contracting an illness.

We have doctors and nurses available to provide you with first-rate care and ensure your well-being under the circumstances.

You will have access to an interpreter when you come to us. The health assessment includes discussions and tests. The visit is completely free of charge.

The results of the assessment do not affect your chances of being allowed to stay in Sweden. The Swedish Migration Agency will not have access to the results of your assessment.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us and we will make a new appointment.

It is important that you bring a valid LMA card or ID document with you as well as a vaccination document.

The main reason for coming to us is for a health assessment. If you become ill, you should contact your nearest medical centre.
