If you have an appointment
Below is essential information regarding your appointment or your contact with a Närhälsan clinic.
Making an appointment
You can make an appointment at your clinic either by telephone or using the clinic website. Some clinics have a walk-in service. The clinic website contains details of the different ways in which you can get in touch.
Cancel your appointment no later than 24 hours before you are due to attend
If you are unable to attend your appointment, you must cancel no later than 24 hours before you are due to attend. Contact your clinic by telephone or via 1177 Care Guide e-services.
If you do not attend an appointment without getting in touch, you will be required to pay the same patient charge that you would have paid if you had attended. If you fail to keep an appointment where you would not have paid a patient charge, you will be charged 100 kronor.
Contact via e-services
All Närhälsan clinics are linked to 1177 Care Guide e-services, where you can contact a clinic, make an appointment, cancel an appointment, and renew your prescription. Different clinics offer different e-services. The e-services that are available are listed on the website for each clinic.
Always bring identification with you
You must always bring identification with you when you visit a Närhälsan clinic. To ensure patient safety at all times, it is important to know we are treating the right person. You can identify yourself by means of a current driving licence or passport, or other valid form of identification.
Patient fee
You pay a patient fee for most healthcare appointments. We would prefer if you paid by card. If you are unable to pay by card, you can pay in cash or we can issue you with an invoice. If you are over the age of 85, all appointments are free of charge.
Do you have a high cost protection card? Don’t forget to bring it with you when you visit us.
