Ditt barn har fått en vaccination mot tuberkulos (BCG-vaccination)
Barnet får inte feber eller utslag av vaccinet. Efter 3-4 veckor bildas det en röd kula som blir ett sår.
Så länge såret är öppet och rinner skall barnet inte bada i pool, att bada i havet eller hemma går bra.
Det går bra att duscha hela tiden.
Det kan ta upp till 3-4 månader innan såret har läkt. Använd en tunn kompress för att skydda såret. Använd inga plåster eller salvor.
Kompresser kan man köpa på apoteket.

Your child has been vaccinated against tuberculosis (BCG vaccination)
The child will not have a high temperature or a rash from the vaccine. After 3-4 weeks a red spot will appear and develop into a sore.
As long as the sore is open and running, the child should not bathe in a pool; bathing in the sea or at home is all right.
It is all right to shower throughout the period.
It may take up to 3-4 months for the sore to heal. Use a thin compress to protect the sore. Do not use plasters or ointments.
You can buy compresses at the pharmacy.
